From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2009/10 Seasonal Booklet: Distorting geography, blurring the rigorous codes of map-makers, the designer has freely interpreted the world after his fashion, using an ancient atlas published by Delagrave. With their kind permission, he has cut up this map of the world into long strips of colour, putting it back together playfully as a patchwork. This deconstruction enlarges the universe even more, overthrowing certitudes and overturning habits. Journeys are no longer for real, but dreamed. Here's a map to lose oneself, not to find oneself in! Only geographical experts could restore the order of things and rebuild the puzzle.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
