From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2020/21 Collection Website Description: Renowned animal painter and portrait artist Xavier de Poret (1894-1975) was famous for his hunting scenes and studies of horses and birds. On this scarf, first produced in 1956, calm and pensive Basset Hounds are drawn in different postures. A hunting dog trained to bring back game, the Basset Hound is characterized by its intelligence and loyalty. The artist has affectionately sketched his silky-coated companions against a plain background to highlight their expressive gaze.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
