From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2005/06 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: The biblical Ark sails on the sea of Armenian sensibility, its wake an illuminated border patterned like oriental carpets. Rising above the diluvian surface, the peak of Mount Ararat breaks the waves, its fabulous gardens home to Earth's escaping creatures. The story has a happy ending: witness, in the four corners of this scarf, a bird flying into a rainbow of optimism, its beak bearing the branch of salvation.

Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
