Why I Love This Pattern: Ribbons, medals, and banners are stacked on these shelves, featuring everything from the Saut Hermès trophy to a racing cyclist’s medal, a Formula 1 car, skates, a golfer, a fencer, and even a lifeguard’s certificate. That certificate dates back to 1895 and belonged to Émile Hermès himself, who once saved three people from drowning in the Seine.
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
