From The Hermès Fall-Winter 2018/19 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Gianpaolo Pagni likes to appropriate all kinds of documents, which he brings to life and makes scintillate with coloured stamps. For Manufacture de boucleries, the Italian artist was inspired by a vintage album presenting harness and saddlery items. The detail chosen in this scarf focuses on a collection of bridle rings and harness horns. Designed for horse collars, they were decorated with horse heads and those of other animals. Geometric motifs - chevrons, interlacing, triangles, a sunburst and a spiral - frame these depictions. Printed with stamps, they highlight by contrast the figurative style of the original illustrative plate.

- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
