Why I Love This Pattern: In this design, Mamadou Cissé reimagines Pantin as a bold, futuristic cityscape. Originally from Senegal, Cissé moved to France at 18 and found his way to art while working night shifts as a security guard with his earliest pieces drawn in ballpoint pen. Here, he gives us a bird’s-eye view of a utopian Pantin, alive with color and geometry. Plus the added silver ink makes it feel like the moonlight it really shining, especially in this deep blue colorway.
