Why I Love This Pattern: When you can’t choose between a scarf and a bag, this piece offers a bit of both and with a touch of royalty, no less. The theme of this scarf revolves around the saber bag, a flat bag traditionally worn by officers and attached to a belt alongside their saber. These bags were often embroidered with intricate designs, sometimes even featuring royal crests. And if that saber was being used to open champagne, count me in!
Size Guide
- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
