From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2023 Website Description: In the second half of the 19th century, Parisian saddlery manufacturers, much like fashion boutiques, presented their new products in illustrated catalogs. Saddles, collars, blinkers and harnesses were drawn with great precision. Several of these albums are kept in the Emile Hermès collection. One of them, dating from 1895 details different strap patterns, inspired Virginie Jamin's design in 2017, taking on the form of a bandana in a new framing.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
