From The Hermès Spring-Summer 2020 Seasonal Scarf Booklet: Located at the far end of Manhattan, The Battery is the park that runs alongside the Hudson opposite Ellis Island, where immigrants were processed at the beginning of the last cen-tury, and Liberty Island, which is dominated by the Statue of Liberty. Close to Wall Street, it remains a place for remembrance and strolling. Ugo Gattoni presents it in his own way, adding his personal vision of the city. He outlines its contours, its skyscrapers, the vegetation and the long esplanade at the water's edge, and supplements it with a few surprising details: a foot sculpture atop a tower, a monumental hand emerging from the Hudson, and a host of little characters busying themselves here and there.

- Twilly: small but mighty, use it like a typical scarf, as a bag handle, as a belt, and more.
- 45cm: this is the typical pocket square size, will fit around the neck like a bandana.
- 55cm: this is the bandana size typically printed in 3 colors to look like a traditional bandana.
- 70cm: this is a great option for petites and they are typically made out of a lighter weight silk than any of the other formats.
- 90cm: this is the classic Hermès scarf size. It's very versatile and if you're looking at any vintage photos, this is the scarf size that's worn.
- 140cm: the largest size of the bunch, almost reaching 5 ft. It's hard to capture the scale in photos but these are incredible as a lightweight shawl in the summer, or folded for a warmer feel in the winter.
- Shawls & Other Sizes: there are a few styles that Hermès does not make every season which are just as lovely and fit into this category.
