Why I Love This Pattern: This design was inspired by 19th-century French military uniforms, specifically those of French light infantry units in Africa called Zouaves, and cavalry soldiers fighting on foot or horseback known as Dragons. Their trimmings, stripes, braids and silk embroidery truly make for a stunning motif on this 140cm.
